Premier Aidoo College Ghana (PAC-Ghana) and Pan African ADR Center, since its establishment over a decade ago in Kumasi, within the Ashanti Region of Ghana has contributed immensely towards the professional development of both aspiring and practicing management personnel leveraging the content of some reputed global certificate awarding bodies. The college in recent years stepped into the law space where matured and administrative directors were enrolled and prepared to write and passed the Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies, an Institute of Commercial Management – ICM UK course, recognized by the OFQUAL and the NAB of United Kingdom and Ghana respectively. PAC-Ghana thus has a relationship with foreign awarding and academic bodies which includes the British Council, University of London, and Andrews University in Michigan UK and USA. It must be noted that PAC-GHANA is not accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) of Ghana to issue certificate of diploma and degree in any form to either of our students. We serve as a Test Preparation and Professional Training Center – TPPTC.

Taking cognizance of the dynamic nature of today’s professional and business environment, PAC GHANA with its legal and management team has inherently built strategic modules that allows management to spot budding trends within the environment. To this end, as part of its core strategy to continuously evolve and tweak its modules to suit the evolving trends within the Ghanaian professional development landscape, PAC-GHANA in collaboration with the PAN AFRICAN ADR CENTER has identified a gap within the legal education, in spite of the projected growth by both public and private Universities to run an ADR program with Psychology.

While reports have projected the growth of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in the legal sector, findings by PAC-Ghana / PAN AFRICAN ADR CENTER shows that there is relatively too little attention in training in this area of study and opportunity to become learned legal ADR practitioner and Jury. Same research has also shown that Her Ladyship Mrs. Georgina Theodora Wood, former Chief Justice of the president Kuffour administration in the Republic of Ghana said and urged the judicial council to employ the services of ADR to expediate civil cases in the law court. It is no doubt that for the first time, the nation Ghana and its judicial system celebrated an ADR week to mark the recognition of its existence. On Friday 14th June 2021, the current Chief Justice of Ghana, His Lordship Justice Kwesi Annin Yeboah co-authored a 433 paged ADR book with Justices Sir Dennis Dominic and Her Ladyship Mrs. Frances Barbara Ackah- Yensu, both Court of Appeal Judges.
